Aluminium Swing Gate And Gate Automation Kit Bundle
The aluminium swing gate and automation kit package contains the following:
1) Pair of aluminium flat top or bell curved top, fully boarded swing gates in textured grey or Golden Oak wood effect
The flat top gates are up to 1.8m high and up to 3.8m wide per leaf and can be specified in custom sizes.
The bell curved top gates are up to 1.8m high at the hinge and up to 2m (20cm taller than at the hinge) in the centre at their highest point.
2) Your choice of gate automation kit from the following:

Please note that these are all above ground automation systems. If you intend to keep your gates manual, please select the no automation option from the preparation for Automation options above. If you will be fitting one of our swing gate automation systems from the above list, please select the above ground automation option. If you will be using underground gate motors purchased separately, please select the underground automation option from the Preparation for Automation dropdown options.

Selecting The Size Of Your Driveway Swing Gates
Flat top gates
Pair of aluminium, full boarded, flat top swing gates
Available in heights up to 1.8m (dimension B)
Available in widths up to 3.8m (dimension A)
Width of the gate = A = Width between pillars
Height of the gates = B = Hinge stile height from the ground
D = Pillar height from ground to underside of coping stone
PLEASE NOTE – Pillar height D must be at least 100mm more than hinge style height B
Bell curve top gates
Pair of aluminium, full boarded, bell curve top swing gates
Available in heights up to 1.8m at the hinge (dimension B) and 2.0m (20cm taller) in the middle (dimension C)
Available in widths up to 3.8m (dimension A)
Width of the gate = A = Width between pillars
Height of the gates = B = Hinge stile height from the ground
D = Pillar height from ground to underside of coping stone

Swing Gate Installation Key Facts
Power Supply
A minimum of a 6 Amp power supply is required at the gate.
Power should be supplied at the gate as per electrical regulations.
Pillars And Posts
Pillars or posts should have a minimum height as in the illustration showing how to measure your gates.
Gate Safety
It’s the responsibility of the gate installer to carry out a risk assessment and to ensure that provision for required safety equipment is installed.

Effect of Wind
The swing gates supplied are close boarded. Strong winds blowing onto the face of these gates will affect the force required to open and close them. If you are installing close boarded gates in windy, exposed areas, upgrading the gate automation motors to stronger units should be considered.
